I am pleased to share a newly edited, previously unseen image of a spotted flycatcher, taken last autumn at RSPB Nagshead in the Forest of Dean. While only a simple bird on a branch, I really like how the bokeh falls behind the subject and leads the viewers eye to focus on the bird. An elegant, clean portrait full of special memories of a great day trip to photograph these amazingly aerobatic birds.
